TrueCare Oregon is an individual dental insurance plan that offers affordable quality dental care for you and your family. There are two TrueCare Oregon plans available – Plan 1 and Plan 2.

How to Enroll
To enroll in the TrueCare Oregon plan, simply complete the application form and submit it along with your premium payment. The application and payment must be received by the 25th of the month preceding the period for which coverage is to be effective. 

You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Oregon to qualify. Your eligible dependents include your spouse or domestic partner and you or your spouses or domestic partner's children through age 25.

How are premium payments made for TrueCare Oregon?
You have three options for premium payment – Auto Pay (automatic checking account deduction), Credit Card or Check.

  1. Via AutoPay - if you are paying by Auto Pay, fill out the Auto Pay portion of the application form. You may submit your completed application via mail, secure email, or fax.
  2. Via Credit Card - if you are paying by credit card, fill out the credit card portion of the application form. You may submit your completed application via mail, secure email, or fax.
  3. Via Check – if you are paying by check, enclose a check for your first month's premium payment with your completed application and mail to the address below.

Can I drop-off my application and premium payment?
Premium payments are accepted via the methods listed above. Please do not remit payment to your Willamette Dental Group dental office. The dental office cannot accept payments from patients for insurance premiums.

Can I sign up for TrueCare Oregon and still go to my own dentist?
To receive the excellent benefits of TrueCare Oregon, you must receive care from a Willamette Dental Group dentist or specialist. Your coverage also extends if you are referred to an outside dentist or specialist by your Willamette Dental Group dentist. If referred to an outside dentist or specialist, your copayments remain the same as shown in your Summary of Benefits.

How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment, please call our Appointment Center toll free at: 1-855-4DENTAL (1-855-433-6825). The Appointment Center is open Monday – Friday from 7am – 6pm PT and Saturday from 7am – 4pm PT.

What can I expect at my first visit?
During your first visit to our office, you will receive a thorough dental examination that includes X-rays and comprehensive risk assessments. Your dentist will develop a Proactive Dental Care Plan based upon your immediate needs, current dental health and long-term oral health goals. This individual plan will include recommendations for cleanings, restorations and preventive treatments. Most patients will receive a cleaning at their first visit, based on the assessment and recommendation from your dentist.

When can I start using my TrueCare Oregon coverage?
If your application and premium payment is received by the 25th of the month, your coverage will be effective on the first of the following month.

How do I know how much Willamette Dental Group charges for dental procedures?
After enrolling in TrueCare Oregon, you will be mailed a printed copy of the plan policy. Please refer to this policy for a list of copayments for covered dental procedures. The costs of many dental services are covered with a reasonable service copayment.

Are there benefit waiting periods under this plan?
Under both TrueCare Oregon plans, there is a 6-month waiting period on benefits for major services (crowns, bridges and dentures) and orthodontic treatment for all ages.

How do I make changes to my TrueCare Oregon policy?
Change requests, such as adding/deleting a dependent, name and address changes, and cancellation requests, must be made writing. To make a change to your TrueCare Oregon policy, please fill out this form and submit via mail, email or fax as noted below. The completed form should be sent at least 30 days in advance of your desired effective date. If you are canceling your policy, your coverage will terminate on the last day of the month following our receipt of your cancellation notice, unless your premiums are past due or you specify a later date.

Please note that if you choose to cancel your policy, you must wait 12 months before you are eligible to re-enroll in any individual plan offered by Willamette Dental Group .
