Our Services

Willamette Dental Group offers our patients a comprehensive range of dental services from routine & restorative to specialty services, such as orthodontics and dental implants.

On your first visit to Willamette Dental Group, your dental care team provides a comprehensive oral health evaluation and risk assessment to form the basis of your Proactive Dental Care Plan. Your plan includes a schedule of routine preventive care, based on your individually assessed risk of tooth decay and gum disease. If you have good oral health, your routine visits may be prescribed as once per year.

Routine Care Visits

During a routine visit, we provide an oral examination to look for any changes in your dental or medical health since your last check-up. If there are no major changes, then your plan is working! If there have been changes to your health, your dentist works with you to adjust your plan, and to ensure that you receive the best, least-invasive treatment for your individual needs and for your long-term health.

Restorative Therapy

At Willamette Dental Group, our dental care providers are trained in a practice called Caries Management by Risk Assessment (CAMBRA®). “Caries” is the medical term for tooth decay, and the aim of CAMBRA® is to keep your teeth as natural and whole as possible while preventing and treating tooth decay.

Research has found that caries is caused by a bacteria, which means that incidents of decay can often be reversed without drilling. Your teeth will stay healthier longer if we keep them natural and whole, so your team of dental care partners will discuss the available options with you before scheduling any restorative treatment.

Specialty Services

If your dentist recommends specialty dental services, you’ll usually find that specialist on our team. Specialty services, including orthodontia are generally available on a regional basis. Most insurance plans also cover referrals to certified outside specialists. To find out where specialty services are available in your area, visit our office locations pages or contact our Appointment Center at 855-433-6825.

Pediatric Dentistry

Children can benefit from treatment by pediatric dentists, who have years of board-certified training in human growth and development and child psychology. Like pediatricians, pediatric dentists are specialists uniquely qualified to evaluate and treat children with special oral healthcare needs.  They complete several years of specialized training working directly with children.  They also work with adults with disabilities or special healthcare needs.  Pediatric dentists are also trained to treat children under all levels of sedation from “laughing gas” to general anesthesia.

Orthodontics

An orthodontist specializes in the correction of teeth alignment, using various treatments such as braces, for improved teeth functioning and visual appearance. Willamette Dental Group licensed orthodontists offer traditional braces as well as Invisalign® esthetic aligners.

Dentures

Dentures are custom-fitted prosthetic replacements for sets of teeth. Various types of dentures can accommodate different patient needs.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are artificial teeth that are surgically anchored into the jawbone like real teeth.

Periodontics

Periodontists specialize in diagnosing and treating gum diseases and other problems in the soft tissues inside your mouth.

Endodontics

Endodontists focus on treating the interior of the tooth, called the “pulp” — they perform root canal therapy and other types of treatments for a damaged tooth pulp.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral surgeons treat injuries, diseases, and defects in the mouth and jaw, and can surgically remove teeth if necessary.
