As a member of Dental Plus of Idaho,
can I go to any dentist I choose?
The benefits of this plan are ONLY offered when services are provided by a dentist or specialist at a Willamette Dental Office.
Is this plan offered to Washington residents?
You must be an Idaho resident to be eligible for Dental Plus of Idaho. However, the benefits of this plan are offered at all Willamette Dental offices in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

What can I expect at my first visit?
If you are a new Willamette Dental patient, your dentist will need to examine your current oral health in order to make an informed recommendation for a personalized treatment schedule. Your first visit will probably include a new patient exam and x-rays. Cleanings and other preventive procedures can be scheduled after this initial appointment.
How are payments made for Dental Plus of Idaho?
Premiums for Dental Plus of Idaho may be paid semi-annually or annually; prior to the 25th of the month preceding the renewal date or effective date of coverage. Premium payments should be mailed to:

All co-pays and charges incurred for dental services are to be paid in full at the time of service.
How do I know how much Willamette Dental charges for dental procedures?
The cost of most preventative and restorative services are covered with a per procedure co-payment. Major services are covered at a significant reduction from Usual and Customary and Reasonable (UCR) Charges. Willamette Dental’s UCR Charges are very close to those you would find at most other dental practices in Idaho. Are there any waiting periods under this plan?
With the exception of complete orthodontia, there are no waiting periods with Dental Plus of Idaho. If your payment and application is received by the 25th of the month, then eligibility for Dental Plus of Idaho begins on the 1st of the following month.
Will I receive a Dental Plus insurance card when I become a member?
Yes. Your dental Plus ID card(s) will be mailed to you within 10 business days after receipt of premium payment. However, as long as you are a member of Dental Plus of Idaho, you do not need an ID card to be seen or to make an appointment.
