Materials, Equipment, and Safety


Willamette Dental utilizes materials and equipment
that meet or exceed standards established by the Food
and Drug Administration (FDA) and other applicable agencies
and that complement our evidence-based philosophy.
Office safety and infection control policies and procedures
are in strict accordance with recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).

Quality and safety of office procedures, materials and
equipment is continuously monitored and further assured by:
Patients Video

  • Office Safety Committees - meet monthly at each office to review health and safety policies, procedures, equipment and materials

  • Materials Committee - meets quarterly to review new and established dental products and equipment

  • Quality Improvement Committee - meets every two months to:
  1. Ensure that quality care and treatment is provided to all patients at all times

  2. Continuously assess and improve the quality of care and services through a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation process

  3. Promote the professional development and enhance the capabilities of all staff members
