Partial - A removable appliance that

difference between a partial and a denture is that some teeth must be present in
the mouth for the partial to hook onto

Plaque - A sticky bacterial film that forms
on teeth; combines with sugars and starches from foods to form acids that eat
away at tooth enamel, causing tooth decay; also causes gum disease when allowed
to accumulate around the gum tissue

Pulpitis - Inflammation of the nerve
