Emergencies/Urgent Care
A dental emergency is a service
that is needed within 24-48 hours because of an injury or sudden illness.
Some examples of emergency dental situations are:
- Extreme pain or infection
- Bleeding or swelling
- Injuries to the teeth and/or gums
Urgent care should be taken care
of as soon as possible, but does not necessarily need immediate attention.
Some examples of urgent dental situations are:
- Lost or cracked fillings
- A broken tooth
- Crowns that have fallen off or broken
Call your provider if an emergent or urgent
dental situation occurs. If it is after hours, you may still call
Willamette Dental. The phone center is always available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week to answer questions and to transfer calls to a
nearby dentist if necessary.
