Willamette Dental has the capability to provide most required oral health services within our own offices.
Most specialty services, when determined to be necessary by the primary doctor of record, can also be provided
in Willamette Dental offices. Specialty services that are not available through Willamette Dental offices are
normally available through referral to a specialist within the local dental community in accordance with limitations
and exclusions of individual plans.
Periodontics - the specialty in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of
the gums, and other tissues surrounding the teeth.
Implants - are artificial teeth attached to anchors that have been surgically
embedded into the bone or surrounding structures. The implants hold the
artificial teeth in place as firmly as the root system holds natural teeth.
Orthodontics - the specialty of the treatment of crooked or poorly
spaced teeth, the correction of the bite, the alignment of the jaws, and for
the improvement of health as well as appearance.
Endodontics - the specialty in root canal therapy and other treatments for
damaged tooth pulp (inner part of the tooth containing nerves and blood
vessels) and associated tissues.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery - is the specialty of the
removal of teeth, and is a surgical treatment of diseases, injuries, and
defects of the mouth and jaws.
Dentures:
- Complete Denture - a removable appliance that replaces all the teeth in either the upper or lower part of the mouth.
- Immediate Denture - a removable appliance that replaces all teeth and is inserted as soon as the remaining teeth are removed.
Pediatric Dentistry - the specialty of
providing preventive and restorative dental care of children from birth
through age 12.
